Terms of Service

1. Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and Victoria Design Lab, 25 St Killian's Park, Clondalkin, Dublin 22, D22 W262, Ireland (support@victoriadesignlab.com, +353 1 457 8520).
2. What we sell
Fixed-price website, shop, redesign, branding and product-design packages; monthly retainers (Lab Care, Monthly SEO); the Discovery Workshop; and add-ons (additional pages, page copywriting) — as listed on /pricing/ and each service page, in EUR.
3. Placing an order
You place an order through the site's cart and checkout. We confirm your order by email once it's placed; a contract between us is formed at that point, for the package, plan or workshop you've ordered.
4. Prices and payment
The price shown for each package or plan is the total price, including VAT where applicable. Most packages take a deposit (40–50%, stated on the package) at booking, with the balance invoiced at launch; some smaller packages and the Discovery Workshop are paid in full at booking. Monthly plans (Lab Care, Monthly SEO) are billed monthly, with the first month due at signup.
5. Scope and changes
Each package has a fixed scope, agreed with you before work starts. If you ask for something outside that scope once the project's under way, we'll agree any change — including any change in price or timeline — with you in writing before proceeding.
6. Turnaround
Each package states an indicative turnaround. Your project's actual finish date also depends on how promptly you provide content, feedback and sign-off at each stage.
7. Ownership
On full payment, the final code, content and design files we deliver at handover are yours. We may display completed work in our own portfolio unless we agree otherwise with you in writing. Studio concept projects (labelled "Studio concept — not a client project") remain our own work and are not associated with any client.

9. Care plans and retainers
Lab Care and Monthly SEO run on a rolling monthly basis. You can cancel with 30 days' notice. Lab Care does not include hosting fees, which remain your own responsibility with your chosen host.
10. Liability
We're not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from our services. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that can't be limited or excluded under Irish law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the current version always applies to new orders from the date it’s published here.
