Frequently asked questions
Do you only care for sites you built?
No — Lab Care works for any site, though we’ll do a short health check first if we didn’t build it, so we know what we’re taking on.
What counts as "design/dev hours" on Plus and Partner?
Small changes and updates — content edits, a new page section, a form tweak, minor fixes. Bigger work (a new page, a redesign) is scoped separately, with the plan's hours put toward it if you'd like.
What happens if I don't use my hours in a given month?
They don't roll over — the plan is priced for ongoing, regular small changes, not a banked balance.
Is hosting included?
No. We're not a host, so hosting is billed separately by whichever provider you use. Lab Care manages the site itself: updates, backups, monitoring and changes.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes — Lab Care runs on a rolling monthly basis with 30 days' notice, never a fixed-term lock-in.
What's the response time if my site goes down?
Same-day on Care Partner, 1 business day on Care Plus. Care Essential covers monitoring and backups but doesn't include a guaranteed response window for ad hoc issues.
