Larchfield Architects — a portfolio site the practice can actually keep current.

The brief

Larchfield's previous site was a single static page built years earlier by a former employee. New projects never made it onto it, because no one at the practice could edit it. The brief: a site built around an editable project gallery, plus someone actually responsible for keeping it current.

Approach

• The project gallery was designed as a repeatable content template, so adding a new project is a content task, not a design task.
• The layout favours large, uncluttered project imagery — the work needed to read as considered as the buildings themselves.
• Lab Care Plus was scoped alongside the build, so updates happen on a schedule instead of drifting back to "whenever someone remembers."
